August 1, 2014 – CCSA begins operations back at our original home – Western Kentucky University.
Eight years ago, we opened our doors in a new office with a new staff. Today, we remain a small staff, we’ve moved one time on the WKU campus, and we continue CCSA’s legacy of providing the best possible, short-term study abroad programs for our students, faculty, and member institutions.

And I also wish to acknowledge David Nelson, our first operations & outreach coordinator, who left us in the Fall of 2019.

And Casey Hindman, our recent communications & outreach coordinator, who left us in July.

This team guided us to financial solvency and an expansion of our programs, while navigating the COVID pandemic, adjusting, rebuilding, and keeping a positive attitude. Our CCSA member institutions could not ask for a more dedicated team.
And our members changed as well. Over the last few years, some folks left their member schools and new people joined the CCSA family. Some institutions chose to exit CCSA, but others joined, so we now have 29 member institutions along with a few “friendly” schools who keep in touch and send their students.
We acknowledge 8 years with our team while also celebrating 40 years of CCSA.
Please join me in saying, “THANK YOU” to the team — current and former. And also in celebrating 40 years.
Celebrate CCSA’s 40 years of service to our students, faculty, and member institutions.
