CCSA has twelve intrepid media designers exploring London with their two innovative teachers. This program almost didn’t happen due to COVID travel restrictions, but with dexterity and determination, it all came together.

The original month-long program was to take place in May with two weeks in London followed by two weeks in Edinburgh. When the travel restrictions forced the potential cancellation, we pushed this program to July and made it three weeks. This then overlapped with the CCSA London Mid-Summer and London Summer programs. By overlapping and keeping to London, we could leverage the arrangements already in place in order to make it happen within the short turn-around time. This enabled the twelve students and two faculty proceed.

The progarm details are here.

The student are :

The faculty are both from Western Kentucky University.

This program is a very hands-on, group-oriented model in which the students take two courses, work on individual and groups projects, and produce publicly available view of what their work.

CCSA is well-known to several of the students since they intern with Imagewest at WKU and in this capacity designed the catalog or other promotional material. Now they get to live what they’ve been telling others about, which can make them more effective in their career.

Since they can tell their own story, I will simply share their blog. Enjoy.

Here is the blog.
