We started London Mid-Summer as a two-week option in 2016. This was a proactive step when data showed increased student interest in shorter programs with a lower costs. We also experienced a change in faculty demographics that made the month-long London program more challenging for some folks. The two-week option has grown in popularity for students and faculty and the Summer 2022 program offers a wide range of courses from new and returning faculty.

July 17, 2022 —August 01, 2022
The London Mid-Summer program offers courses in Communication, Chemistry, Literature, Finance, Healthcare, History, Legal Studies, Music, and Theatre. Check this link for more about each cousre.
HOUSING
A big change on this program is our housing location. After reviewing several options, we chose St. Giles London as our home. St. Giles London is centrally located, situated in the heart of the West End. St. Giles is just a few minutes walk from Oxford Street, Soho, Theatres, the British Museum, Covent Garden, and many other attractions. Tottenham Court Underground Station (Central and Northern lines) is just 2 minutes away.
Students will share twin rooms, and daily full English breakfast is provided in the Sage & Chilli Restaurant.
EXPLORE TIME
CCSA promotes explore time for students to apply the lessons learned in class to the real-world of London. We keep Saturday July 23 as a full explore day. It is set aside by faculty so students can explore on their own or join the full-day optional excursion for Stonehenge and Salisbury. Of course, non-class time is always explore time.

ON-SITE ADMINISTRATORS
Our on-site admins are a key of part of CCSA programs. Volunteers from our member institutions step up to support student and faculty.
Karen Stock (Walsh University) is the on-site director and brings several years of experience as a CCSA faculty member and administrator. She is joined by Danielle Walters (Lincoln Memorial University). Depending on the size of the group a second assistant admin may be added and we have a great pool of enthusiastic folks from which to draw.
